Storm the Castle
I went to White Castle for the second time in my life. Both were with Kim and her family too. It was good eats. I went bowling a couple days ago; I got a 92 and 119. Not bad for someone who used to bowl all the time and hasn't for three years. Making a comeback. uuuuh nothing else to really say...so I guess whenever something happens I'll post it.

Hey, cool down
My girlfriend and her family are up on a short vacation at Niagara Falls. I've never been there but that's alright with me. So while she's away I'm just bored...so here's a poem to pass the time.
I Wish The Sky Could Follow You
I wish the sky could follow you and tell
me everything you do. For the gentle breeze
to carry, a whisper, sweet enough to kiss her.
That all the clouds that roll on by, part enough
to let the sun spy. Let the brightest star find
out who stole my heart. All the rain that falls
calls your name, sending shivers down my spine.
All the rays that shine, stain my skin with romantic
shades of sin. Every voice of thunder can only
make me wonder where you could be other than
here with me. I know the lightening startles you
but every howling wind that passes through,
speaks to me. It tells me with every shriek
that I still have you when I grow weak.
Even when the day turns to nigh, I still
wish sky could tell me your secrets.
Twinkling stars that you wish upon
constellize into glimmering swans.
They gracefully soar above, keeping
an eye on my love. The moon, a colder
darker twin to the sun, waxes and wanes
with silver trains of cosmic remains. It
becomes the second eye to watch you
wave good-bye. I trust them both, my
eyes in the sky to follow you, and every-
thing you do and all we go through.

Mind has been blown
I just saw Inception last night and it is really fantastic. It's full of complexity but doesn't interrupt the story. Some things are hard to understand but it's okay, you can't know everything. It was a great film in my opinion, it made me think about and question dreams and reality. I think I'll be buying this when it comes out.

Feel the Burn!
After my tingly hand scare I went to the gym this morning. I did over 30 minutes of cardio, 100 crunches, and 50 arm lifts or presses whatever. Then I came home and had some celery and a peanut butter sandwich. I say it's a good start to being healthy.

Not feelin so hot....
I don't know if it's from the way I slept or what but while I was driving I started getting a tingling feeling in my left hand. Now I'm not a healthy person so I thought it could be a heart attack...but I've only had the tingling happen throughout the day. It kind of went up into my forearm too. But it could be from plenty of things....here's to hoping.

Red Hot Phillies
In extra innings. I went to see the Phillies play the Reds on Saturday and it was pretty exciting. Reds starting pitcher almost had a perfect game, he kept it through the 8th i think it was. But the Phillies fought back and won in the 11th...i think.
And on Friday I saw Despicable Me with Kim. It's a pretty good flick. Lots of cuteness and hilarity. I liked it and that's all that matters.
Sorry I haven't posted much...I guess there's not much to say really.

Fireworks
Happy belated birthday America. Every time I hear patriotic music it makes me think of the history this country has had. The lyrics don't match today's country, it's depressing. The fireworks were a great date with my lady, especially with funnel cake. But I lost my Pokewalker, it's okay, it's not important. It's just a novelty.
I've been submitting some works to magazines and contests but so far no word back. I need to win some money since I don't have a job.

Lightening Strikes
The other day I went to the Franklin Institute (in philadelphia) it's a hands on scientific museum. I hadn't been there in like ten years which makes it all the more fun. It was a fun time. (the title is reference to franklin flying his key kite).
and here's a new poem
Comets Are Boring
Comets are beginning to bore you.
They lack the glisten your hair streaks,
crossing through entangled streets filled
with alarming cars and concrete stars
that last a life time.
Strangers litter your name in vains,
shooting dust just to gain a different kind
of smile. Your eyes, glazen under the
moon as you stare into a cosmic
lagoon of murky clouds and mudpuppies
that shroud themselves behind shooting stars.
Comets are no longer worth wishing over.
You’d rather mesmerize on the tiny dots and pulsing spots
that induce your colder outer space highs.
